GetExpanded is a comprehensive directory service operated by 13738248 Canada Inc. that connects people with qualified healthcare providers specializing in:

• Palatal expansion devices (RPE, MSE, MARPE, DOME, SARPE, FME, FMA)
• Airway orthodontics and facial development
• Jaw surgery and oral & maxillofacial surgery
• Myofunctional therapy
• Sleep medicine and sleep apnea treatment

Our platform includes a searchable provider directory, educational blog content, community resources, provider submission functionality, provider accounts, and premium listing services.

2. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: GetExpanded is not a medical service provider and we are not doctors or medical professionals. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided on our website is for informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, palatal expansion, airway health, jaw development, sleep apnea, or any other health-related concerns. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on our website.

The providers listed in our directory are independent practitioners. We do not control their practices, methods, or outcomes. Any treatment decisions should be made in consultation with qualified medical professionals.

3. Directory Information and Verification

GetExpanded provides a directory of providers specializing in palatal expansion, airway orthodontics, jaw surgery, myofunctional therapy, sleep medicine, and related treatments. The information in our directory is collected from various sources, including direct submissions from providers and users.

While we strive to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information in our directory, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in the directory.

The "Verified" badge on certain provider listings indicates that we have taken additional steps to confirm the provider's information. However, this verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the provider's services, qualifications, or expertise.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Service, including the Provider Dashboard, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

4.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be inappropriate or harmful to other users or our Service.

5. Provider Dashboard and Listing Management

5.1 Provider Dashboard Access

Healthcare providers can access the Provider Dashboard to manage their listings, submit new provider information, and claim existing listings. Access to the Provider Dashboard requires a registered account.

5.2 Claiming Listings

Providers may claim existing listings in our directory by submitting a claim request. Claims are verified through email domain matching or manual review. By claiming a listing, you represent and warrant that:

• You are authorized to represent the provider or practice
• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• You have the authority to manage the listing on behalf of the provider

We reserve the right to reject or revoke claims at our discretion if we believe the claim is fraudulent or unauthorized.

5.3 Listing Content

When managing your listing through the Provider Dashboard, you are responsible for ensuring that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and does not violate any laws or these Terms. You may not include content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.

6. Premium Listings and Subscriptions

6.1 Premium Features

GetExpanded offers Premium Listings with enhanced features including a Premium Listing badge, custom logo and banner, video embedding, social media links, education credentials, certifications display, age groups served, custom FAQ section, and advanced listing analytics. Premium Listings are available for a monthly or yearly subscription fee.

6.2 Payment and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor, Dodo Payments. By subscribing to a Premium Listing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees for your subscription
• Provide accurate and complete billing information
• Authorize recurring charges to your payment method
• Adhere to Dodo Payments' terms of service and privacy policy

6.3 Subscription Management

You can manage your subscription, update payment information, or cancel your subscription through the customer portal accessible from the Provider Dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

6.4 Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you have concerns about your subscription.

6.5 Premium Listing Badge Disclaimer

The Premium Listing badge indicates that a provider has purchased enhanced listing features. It does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or verification of the provider's qualifications, services, or expertise. Premium status does not affect search result placement or ranking.

7. Provider Submission System

Our website includes a provider submission form that allows users to submit information about healthcare providers. Submissions are reviewed before being added to the directory.

By submitting provider information, you represent and warrant that:

• The information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
• You have the right to submit the information
• The submission does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
• The submission does not infringe on any third-party rights
• You understand that submissions are reviewed and may take time to process

We reserve the right to review, edit, or reject any submissions at our sole discretion. We may remove any provider information from our directory at any time for any reason.

8. Website Features and Functionality

8.1 Search and Filtering

Our website provides advanced search and filtering capabilities to help users find providers by location, device type, and other criteria.

8.2 Provider Profiles

Each provider has a dedicated profile page with SEO-optimized URLs, contact information, services offered, and patient notes where available.

8.3 Device Information Pages

We provide educational pages about different expansion devices (RPE, MSE, MARPE, DOME, SARPE, FME, FMA) with provider listings for each device type.

8.4 Blog and Educational Content

Our blog provides educational articles about airway health, palatal expansion, and related topics. This content is for informational purposes only.

8.5 Community Integration

We operate a Discord community server where users can connect and share experiences. Use of our Discord community is subject to Discord's terms of service.

9. Listing Analytics

9.1 Analytics Data Collection

GetExpanded collects and provides analytics data to help providers understand how their listings are performing. This includes tracking listing impressions, profile views, website clicks, social media clicks, traffic sources, and visitor geographic regions.

9.2 Free Analytics

All providers with claimed listings have access to basic analytics including:

• Listing impressions (how many times your listing appeared in search results)
• Profile views (how many times your full profile was viewed)

9.3 Premium Analytics

Premium subscribers have access to advanced analytics including:

• Website clicks tracking
• Social media clicks by platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Traffic source breakdown (search, direct, location pages, device pages)
• Top visitor regions
• Custom date range filters and detailed charts

9.4 Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for 24 months. After this period, data may be aggregated or deleted. Analytics data is used solely to provide insights to providers and improve our services.

10. Email Communications

10.1 Transactional and Notification Emails

When you use GetExpanded, we send transactional and notification emails to keep you informed about your account and listings, including:

• Account verification and authentication emails
• Listing submission approval notifications
• Listing claim approval notifications
• Premium subscription activation and billing notifications
• Provider Dashboard updates and important announcements

These transactional and notification emails are required for account management and subscription services. You cannot opt out of these communications, but you can manage your account and notification preferences through your Provider Dashboard.

10.2 Marketing and Promotional Emails

If you opt in to receive marketing emails during account creation or through your account settings, we may send you occasional emails about platform updates, listing-related news, feature announcements, and relevant opportunities. These emails are sent using our email service provider, Resend.

Opt-In and Opt-Out: Marketing emails are completely optional. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by updating your preferences in your account settings. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect your receipt of transactional notifications.

10.3 Email Service Provider

We use Resend, a secure email service provider, to deliver our emails. Resend complies with applicable email marketing regulations and industry best practices. Your email address and marketing preferences are stored securely and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service:

• To scrape, harvest, or collect data from our website using automated means
• To copy, reproduce, or redistribute our directory content without permission
• To submit false, misleading, or inaccurate provider information
• To fraudulently claim listings you are not authorized to manage
• To create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data

12. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of 13738248 Canada Inc. and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Service without our prior written consent.

13. Links to Provider Websites and Third-Party Services

Our Service contains links to provider websites and other third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by 13738248 Canada Inc. We also integrate with third-party services including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Dodo Payments (payment processing), and Discord (community).

13738248 Canada Inc. has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that 13738248 Canada Inc. shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We comply with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you have an active Premium subscription, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period unless terminated for violation of these Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

16. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall 13738248 Canada Inc., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Any errors or omissions in provider information
• Any decisions made based on information found on our Service
• Any issues arising from payment processing or subscription management

17. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province in which 13738248 Canada Inc. operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

19. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
