GetExpanded: The Next Chapter

We're excited to announce a complete rehaul of the GetExpanded website! While GetExpanded has existed for some time now, this new update represents a significant step forward in our mission to connect people with the airway health and facial development care they need.

To our surprise and delight, we've discovered that many of you have been actively using GetExpanded as a resource for finding palatal expansion and airway orthodontics specialists, which has motivated us to invest more time and effort into making it even better.

The Vision for GetExpanded

The true meaning behind "GetExpanded" goes beyond just expansion devices. Our vision is to create a comprehensive directory that includes expansion device providers and airway-focused orthodontists, as well as jaw surgeons, myofunctional therapists, and sleep doctors—all professionals who can help improve breathing, airway function, facial development, and overall quality of life.

This broader approach reflects our commitment to addressing the full spectrum of solutions for airway health, jaw development, sleep apnea treatment, UARS, and premolar extraction reversal. By bringing together these different but complementary specialties, we can better serve those seeking help with facial development and airway health.

What's Coming Next

We'll be adding many more providers to the directory soon and personally calling providers to verify their information and services. We encourage everyone to help grow our community resource by submitting providers you know of through our provider submission form.

We provide a large quantity of providers so that many people have options available to them. However, it's important to note that not all providers are equal—some have significantly more experience and better results with certain types of devices, procedures, or treatments for sleep apnea, UARS, and facial development. It's up to you to do your research on the options given to you. We're working on ways to help you identify the most qualified specialists for your specific needs.

In the future, we will be solving this issue with our rating system, but in the meantime, we have patient notes and each other to ask for guidance when choosing between airway orthodontics and palatal expansion specialists.

Please be patient as we implement these changes. We have other commitments outside of GetExpanded, but we're committed to steadily improving this resource for everyone who needs help with airway health, jaw development, and facial development.

For questions, please email us at getexpanded@proton.me. To suggest a provider, please use our submission form.
